Artwork

In the off chance that I already have a million other things going on and I have no brain space to devote to writing, I fill said brief moments with something relaxing.  Something that doesn't take thought or effort or planning.

Scratch that.  It does take thought and planning, but when I did the thinking and planning months ago, really it's like play time/recess in my hectic day.  If you are wondering what the heck I am referring to, riddle no more.  I am talking about my artwork.

When I am so stressed out that I cannot hardly use my brain, I end up thinking up goofy stuff like this:

Needless to say, I had fun painting this little picture.  I haven't a clue what I am going to do with it or if I am going to frame it or where to hang it on my wall.  Honestly, I just did it because I needed to let rip creative gas that didn't have a character arc, plot hole or dialogue.  As much as I love writing, after a long hard day, sitting down and painting is so relaxing.  Then, after dipping my fingers in color, my writer's brain kicks back on.

There is no rest in my head.

I think it looks great! Wherever you hang it, it will make any room or area look gorgeous!
